What's New for 2020?
As with most changes, the ones you find in the 2020 Jeep Compass start at the base-level Sport trim. New standard driver-assist equipment is included, like rear parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and blind-spot monitoring, among other items. You even get access to more packages for each trim level. The Safety and Security Package, Luxury Seat package and Advanced Safety package are available for specific trims.
Performance
The Jeep Compass is equipped with an efficient 180-horsepower 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine. But there is much more to it than that. Since it is still a Jeep, you know it is prepared for adventure. The Selec-Terrain Traction Management System allows you to easily adjust your Jeep Compass to your driving environment, whether it is Snow, Sand, Mud, or Rock. There is nowhere in Sugar Land, TX your Jeep can't take you.
The standard Active Drive Low 4X4 and Hill Descent Control prepare you for any off-road expedition. High ground clearance and high air intakes give you the ability to traverse through water obstacles. Nothing is off-limits when you are behind the wheel of your 2020 Jeep Compass.

Trim Levels
- Jeep Compass Sport: Not your typical base model. Rides on 16-inch wheels. Cloth upholstery is enhanced by the push-button start and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Uconnect infotainment system starts with the seven-inch touchscreen, Apple and Android integration, Bluetooth and two USB ports. A forward-folding front passenger seat and 60/40-split-folding rear seat give more room for storage.
- Jeep Compass Latitude: Expands on the features of the Sport by adding 17-inch wheels, satellite radio, and keyless entry. Upholstery upgrades to a cloth and vinyl seats.
- Jeep Compass Limited: Leather seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel are added to the interior. The seats are heated and power-adjustable. The wheels are now 18-inch, and the infotainment touchscreen is now 8.4-inches.
- Jeep Compass Trailhawk: The trail-ready version of the Jeep Compass. 17-inch all-season on and off-road tires come with this trim, as does the Active Drive Low four-wheel-drive system. Additional skid plates, off-road suspension and tow hooks complete the off-road package. Leather seats give a sense of luxury to this adventurous trim level.
